Marketing Coordinator

This Marketing Coordinator position is a key role that will have significant opportunities for impact to the organization’s revenue. A key member of the Marketing & Sales team, this role is responsible for delivering B2B leads to the sales team through the use of digital channels. This position will also be responsible for SEO, Social Media, and internet-related metrics.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Qualify incoming and outbound marketing-generated leads.
  • Contact to determine interest, quality and ownership.
  • Educate leads on company's services to facilitate qualification efforts.
  • Accurately maintains records and reportable contact metrics as required.
  • Alert prospects to changes in the industry.
  • Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g., customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
  • Assist  in development and execution of communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with SEO goals
  • Research and administer social media tools in support of clients’ social media strategy
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments. Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific.
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages.
  • Implement link building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals.
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with client goals. Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels.
  • Creation and implementation of targeted email marketing campaigns
  • Content development and management in our CMS of choice
  • Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results

Professional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tool
  • Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.)
  • Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in CMS environments
  • Desired: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations
  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • Articulate, influential and persuasive; excellent communication and presentation skills both verbally and in written form
  • Excellent probing and listening skills to uncover the prospect’s needs and “pain  points”
  • Outstanding organizational, prioritizing and time management skills
  • Solid understanding of marketing concepts including lead management process,
  • Customer lifecycle, lead nurturing, and marketing automation systems
