When things get icy – SN9001 can give you peace of mind.

Bringing you information about SQA, Quality Management, and more.

January 09, 2013

For the past year and a half, Smithers Quality Assessments’ Vice President, Jeanette Preston, has assisted in the creation of the new SN9001 standard. We are happy to report that the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) announced its accreditation program for the Accredited Snow Contractors Association’s (ASCA) SN9001 program. This means that professional snow and ice managers can begin their process for certification.

The ASCA has released an informative article reviewing the benefits that the SN9001  program will bring to the professional snow and ice industry.

Please read the article to find out how the SN9001 program can help to:

  • Reduce insurance premiums
  • Provide strong documentation of your snow and ice management processes
  • Keep you protected and prepared in the event of a lawsuit

For more information about gaining certification to SN9001, contact the SQA office.
